At LISANPLAST we are committed to innovation and as a result, we present technological wood, called WPC (Wood Plastic Composite). It is a completely recyclable and sustainable mixture of wood and plastic.
The wood used for the manufacture of technological wood is a by-product of sawmills, therefore no trees are cut down for its production, contributing by actively using WPC to the protection of the natural environment. Plastic can also be recycled.
There are many possible compositions based on the mixed products. The most common are mixtures of 70% wood and 30% plastic, 80-20 and 50-50. As for the plastics normally used, they are; polyethylene, polypropylene and PVC. Depending on which one is used, a type of technological wood with a characteristic appearance and mechanical properties will be obtained.
Technological wood is fully recyclable. Once its useful life in a specific application has ended, it can be reused as raw material for any new application.
The product obtained by extrusion is a conglomerate with an appearance very similar to wood and with mechanical properties also very similar, but which significantly improves some of the behavior of wood in general.
Technological wood resists perfectly outdoors without requiring maintenance. It is not attacked by fungi or insects, it is rot-proof, as well as shatterproof. A technological wood installation outdoors does not need any special care for its conservation.
You can obtain any color you want in the same mass at the time of extrusion, so it is not necessary to paint it afterwards. The colors obtained offer great stability over time.
